Description

TECHNICAL MINERAL WHITE oil is a cost effective solution for customers requiring non-toxic, odourless, tasteless water white products. Relatively low volatility and high flash points compared with solvent neutral base stocks of equivalent viscosity. This oil can provide exceptionally good oxidation stability, when combined with the appropriate additives, to provide superior performance to that of traditional solvent refined base stocks. Can be used as a component or auxiliary material in the textile, chemical, plastics, food and other special industries where direct contact with human or animal can be excluded and low aromatic content is required. Typical applications include carrier fluid for pesticides and insecticides, lubrication of precision machines (e.g. sewing machines), wax and polymer solubilisation, textile, dedusting and concrete, plastic mould release oils.

Performance level:

Non-toxic as it has only trace levels of polycyclic aromatics. This enables it to be used in food grade lubricants meeting NSF H1 & HX1 performance for incidental food contact. This oil meets FDA 21 CFR 178.3620 (b) and 573.680 regulations.
