Description

Solid lubricants are complementary products applied when properties of common liquid or grease are not sufficient. It is typically lubrication of machinery parts under high pressures or high temperatures; they are frequently used for technological purposes or as improving components for grease and liquid lubricants. A mixture of MoS2 powder and light mineral oil; it serves for both lubrication and separation purposes (assembly and lubrication paste).

Performance level: 

Mixture of molybdenum (IV) sulphite and petroleum oil

Applications: 
For lubrication of movable parts where additional greasing is difficult or impossible (joints, cocks etc.), for surface treatment of demountable joints particularly at high temperatures and in aggressive environments (creating a separation layer), also as an agent for metal drawing and pressure moulding.
